Gustavo has broad experience in the oil industry in the area of refining, textile industry, in the areas of services, maintenance and management systems. In the building materials industry, he implemented comprehensive management systems for Holcim Ecuador and served as a regional Occupational Safety and Health Consultant for Holcim at the regional level from Mexico to Brazil. With more than 12 years of international experience in the thermal power generation sector, in the areas of installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance. Holder of extensive knowledge of the administration of O&M contracts in power plants for industrial and generation sectors. Former WARTSILA Contract Manager for Central America, Caribbean and North Latin America region, being responsible for an installed capacity around 1 GW.

She has opened markets for new products in the Ecuadorian market, being responsible for the development of competent sales forces and the creation of a strong culture of customer service in the organizations where he has worked. Dr. Juan Carlos Solano

DR. IN SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC ENERGY

Juan Carlos Solano is an Engineer in Electronics and Telecommunications, with a Master's degree in Electromechanics. International Doctorate in Photovoltaic Solar Energy with mention Cum Laude in the Department of Physical Electronics of the Polytechnic University of Madrid. He also completed a research stay at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon. He has participated in several research projects and has experience in university teaching for more than 10 years. It has published 17 scientific papers, 4 of which have been published in high-impact journals. He has also participated as an exhibitor in several international congresses, especially he has made two presentations at the European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition EUPVSEC, the most important photovoltaic congress in the world. His research interests focus on renewable energy, specifically photovoltaic systems.

Roger has extensive experience in implementing infrastructure projects and industrial processes. He has a deep knowledge in planning, design, construction, operation and repowering of industrial plants; he has coordinated and directed the production, quality and maintenance of important industrial projects. He was board member of CIMEPI (Association of Mechanical Engineers of Pichincha).

His experience transcends from the engineering field to the administrative-managerial field, contributing in the training, consolidation and commissioning of prestigious industrial companies; he has been Commercial Project Manager, Operations Manager and Plant Manager at Novacero S.A., University teacher at ESPE. He is currently General Manager of Printbuilding Innova Construcciones S.A. company dedicated to innovation in construction systems.
